first cold front hot sauce

since i learned about the blogging from, i thought that the purpose of the internet was primarily for writing about food and music, and outside of work, that's still pretty much all i use it for. whenever the first cold front comes in, i usually make hot sauce, and then lamb stew for the second one. i came up with a pretty good batch this time, thought i'd post the ingredients someone can take it as their own and either impress the ladies or make a million bucks...

1 clove gralic, diced
1/2 c. sour cream
12oz can chipotle pepers in adobo sauce
7oz can medium green chiles
28oz can diced tomatoes

mix all this together in a blender, juice and all, don't drain anything, blend for a couple minutes, and that's it. it'll taste better after it sits in the fridge for a while, but it's good right off the bat.

get it? that was a halloween joke... right off the "bat..." ok, i'll stick to writing music, not jokes.

i've been tring to dig deep and think about what's up in our small musical world, and i got all philosophical and had it all thought out in depth (in paragraph form, with a cover sheet, of course), and geoff pretty much summed it up in one sentence...

"man, there's been some kooky shit going on lately."

thanks, g, you hit the nail on the head.
