Did about a mile and a half yesterday, and three today. No superman distances, but I have got out to run everyday. It really feels good... I just got done with the three miles, and my legs have that twitch that you get. It feels like they're telling me "come on, man, we were just getting warmed up! let's go run some more!" I may have gone further, btu Mandy's got plans with her friends and I had to get back. It's just me and Luke tonight.
It's just that beautiful time of year, especially for running. You don't even notice the temperature of the air until a breeze comes. Eveything smells good, occassionaly there's the smell of a smoker, and fireplaces aren't far behind.

It's been quite a day... Bought a smoker (on sale), got a flu shot which made me feel quite strange, ate some ribs at Angelo's, and still managed to run. About a mile and a half, maybe two. Mandy made a good point... Since I'm still trying to get back into it, just run. Everyday you're supposed to. I'll be back up to the long stuff in no time.
I also had one of those days where I was craving beer and cigarettes... The beer's no big deal, that's normal, but occassionally I'll get this craving for those fat Camel cigarettes or the unfliltered ones. Sure, I'll have the occassional Marlboro, and too often I've been smoking cigars, but the craving for a High Tar and Nicotine product is kinda scarry. But you know what? It passed.

Moving deeper into the semi-slacker mode, I did 12 miles yesterday instead of 18, but it was a good run and I'm not too sore. I was supposed to do a 25 minute run today, but I really didn't feel like it. That's the root of all my problems - doing what I feel like instead of what I know I should. Tomorrow is technically an off day, but I think I'll make up for today on Monday. I've got a few goals this week... I am determined to make this week the day I get back on track with the running program, and start making a serious attempt to get my weight under control. Here's how I'm going to do it... 1. Starting tomorrow (really), I'm going to run my schedule according to plan. 2. Not drink this week (until Saturday). 3. Stay within my WW points range in regards to eating.
